  • 1 pound breakfast beef and sage sausage
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 17.3 oz puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • Hot honey for drizzling
  • Everything but the Bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine beef sausage, cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, one egg, and thyme until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each into two long strips.
  4. Shape the sausage mixture into logs and place them on the pastry strips. Brush with mustard and egg wash before rolling up tightly.
  5. Score the tops of the rolls, cut into pieces, brush with egg wash again, sprinkle with seasoning, then bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
