  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 tsp maple extract
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in pumpkin puree and eggs until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate spices, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour until just mixed.
  4. Spread batter into the loaf pan and prepare the streusel by combining melted butter, flour, brown sugar, and spices. Sprinkle over the batter.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before glazing.
  6. For the glaze, whisk together confectioners' sugar, maple extract, maple syrup, and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
