  • 8 oz. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • 5 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 ½ tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Drain excess liquid from the pumpkin puree using paper towels.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, egg yolk, brown sugar, corn starch, and spices until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Unroll crescent roll dough into rectangles and cut into squares.
  6. Fill each square with one tablespoon of both filling mixtures and seal tightly before rolling into balls.
  7. Wrap kitchen twine around each ball to create a pumpkin shape.
  8. Brush with melted butter and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly, remove twine, and insert pretzel sticks for stems.
