  • 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ cup corn syrup (light or dark)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves (or chopped pecans)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar. Gradually blend in flour until combined.
  3. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, light brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in pecans.
