  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil and season the diced chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear until golden brown (5-6 minutes) and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about one minute. Add orzo and toast for around 12 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and simmer until orzo absorbs most of the liquid (about 8 minutes).
  4. Stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and broccoli florets. Cook until the orzo is tender and the sauce thickens (5-6 minutes).
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well before serving warm.
