  • ⅓ cup (66g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅔ cup (64g) almond flour
  • 10 tbsp (140g) unsalted butter (for topping)
  • ⅔ cup (133g) brown sugar (packed)
  • ⅓ cup (66g) granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (for topping)
  • ½ tsp salt (for topping)
  • 1¼ cup (150g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (24g) almond flour (for topping)
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, mix melted unsalted butter with granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt until combined. Stir in almond flour.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar and melted unsalted butter. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and salt before gradually mixing in all-purpose flour and additional almond flour.
  4. Pour the blondie base into the prepared pan, spread evenly, then layer the topping mixture over it. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  5. Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
